A student of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) has been stabbed severely by unknown miscreants on the campus on Thursday late night.
The victim was identified as KMF Monifuddoza Samrat, a 3rd year student of agriculture faculty of BAU and a residential student of Shaheed Nazmul Ahsan Hall (SNAH). He is also the organizing secretary of Bhadhan SNAH unit, a voluntary organization for donating blood.
On Thursday night at around 2:30am, Samrat with his friend Rasel went to shes mor area of campus to have some tea. While they were coming back towards the hall, two unidentified miscreants suddenly stabbed with sharp objects left him severely injured in front of Chashi Bhaban of BAU and managed to flee quickly. Later, some other students, who were also in Shes mor area, rescued him and took him to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
About the incident chief security officer of BAU Mohiuddin Hawlader said,
“Our security patrol car took him to hospital immediately. But we do not know who and why have done this.”
