BAU ranks top again among BD varsities

Bangladesh Agriculture University (BAU) has been ranked among the universities in Bangladesh. The country’s ancient and traditional university, which has been the first to hold the first place in two consecutive years, is located in Mymensingh.
This information has come out in the January 2018 edition of a study by Web materials, a Spain’s capital Madrid-based education and research institute. The position of the university in the international ranking is 1848, which was 2061st in July ranking. Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2071) got the 2nd position while Dhaka University (2132) at the third position. University of Chittagong at the fourth position (2593), Rajshahi University (2662) at the fifth position, private BRAC University (2940) ranked the 6th, seventh Jahangirnagar University (2975), 8th Independent University of Bangladesh (3189), 9th Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (3289) and 10th North South University (3366).
Among the Asian universities, BAU ranked 562, BUET 646 and Dhaka University 674th.
