BAU admission process begins, test Nov 8

The process of online admission to the honour’s courses of Level-1, at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) has started. A total of 1200 seats-1135 of which are for general students and 65 for quota students – are available under six faculties of BAU in the academic session 2014-15, confirmed official sources of the university.
Students who passed HSC examination in 2013 or 2014 and had physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics (higher math in case of SSC) as their subjects of study, can apply for registration this year. The total score to be counted is 200-100 for SSC and HSC GPA scores and the rest for MCQ test.
The admission seekers have to fill up online application form from the university admission website (http://admission.bau.edu.bd).
If the information given is correct, the university will send PIN number. To complete the application process, one needs to pay the application fee Tk 600 through Dutch Bangla Bank Ltd. (DBBL) mobile banking from own account or agent point mentioning university biller ID 336. The admission process will continue until 30 September 2014.
A list of eligible candidates will be published on 10 October. Afterwards, candidates will be required to upload a passport size JPG photo (160×200) through the university website. After completing the process, they will have to download their admit card and bring it along on the day of their test.
Finally, the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)-based admission test of 100 marks will be held on 8 November.
