British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB) was recognized as the “Most Female Friendly Organization” in private sector for ensuring working friendly environment for female employee.
The Award was handed over to BATB at a function “RFL Inspiring Women Award”, which was organized to mark the International Women’s Day to tribute the women working in different sectors as role model.
Shehzad Munim, Managing Director, BATB and Rumana Rahman, Head of HR, BATB received the award on behalf of the organization recently, said a BATB press release today.
Farah Zabeen, Area Head of Secondary Manufacturing Department was also recognized as “Progressive Women Leader” for achieving success in leadership on workplace.
Shehzad Munim said BATB always believes in diversity, saying “To develop women leadership BATB has always patronized women working in their office and BATB will do so in future.”
Rumana Rahman said women can lead in every sphere and we are able to create an interface of women leadership and created some successful women leader in BATB.
