A basic training on ICT, e-document management and web portal update of UP secretaries including officers and employees of various departments of Shibalaya Upazila Parishad was held at the Upazila Parishad meeting room on Monday afternoon.
Manikganj Deputy Commissioner SM Ferdous was the guest at the training. Shibalaya Upazila Nirbahi Officer BM Ruhul Amin Rimon presided over the function. Upazila Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Farshid bin conducted the program. Upazila Parishad Chairman Bir Muktijoddha Rezaur Rahman Khan Janu and Thana Officer-in-Charge Md. Firoz Kabir spoke as special guests.
Chief Guest Manikganj Deputy Commissioner SM Ferdous called upon the government officials and employees to withdraw their deceitful attitude and devote themselves to the service of the people. He further said that at present the country is moving forward on the path of development through digital system. There has been a radical change in the information exchange and communication system.
In all cases there is transparent accountability of the administration. Revenue collection is increasing due to the introduction of digital system. The common man will enjoy its benefits in the coming financial year and budget.
At the end of the program, Deputy Commissioner Mujib Centennial Shelter Project is working on the ongoing construction of ‘A’ class housing project, completed construction of houses for the families affected by cyclone Amphan, ongoing construction of houses on their own land without land, T Inspected the work of the project on the spot. Expressed satisfaction by inspecting the activities of all the projects.
