Bashundhara Kings of Bangladesh will take on ATK Mohun Bagan in their second Group-D match of the AFC Cup at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata today. The match will kick-off at 5.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the match live from the big bowl.
Earlier, Bashundhara Kings beat Maziya Sports and Recreation Club of Maldives by a solitary goal in their first Group-D match on May 18 in Kolkata.
On the other hand, ATK Mohun Bagan lost to Gokulam Kerala FC by 4-2 goals in their first Group-D match at the same venue.
Before today’s match, Bashundhara Kings faced ATK Mohun Bagan in one match. The match ended in a draw.
If Mohun Bagan win the today’s match, they have a slim chance to qualify for the next round of the AFC Cup.
On the other hand, if Bashundhara Kings can register victory against ATK Mohun Bagan, the reigning champions of the Bangladesh Premier League Football will brighten their chance to move into the next round of the AFC Cup.
If the today’s match ends in a draw, ATK Mohun Bagan’s hope to qualify for the next round will go into vapour.
If the today’s match ends in draw, Bashundhara Kings hope to qualify for the next round will become faded.
