Bashundhara Kings have recruited Hernan Barcos of Argentina for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football and other football competitions. It may be mentioned that, Hernan Barcos was the teammate of Lionel Messi of Argentina National Football team.
Hernan Barcos, the former striker of Argentina is scheduled to come in the city tomorrow. The Argentine striker played four matches for his National team.
Bashundhara Kings will make an agreement with Barcos for ten months. Barcos will get Dollars $ twenty thousand for each month.
President of Bashundhara Kings Imrul Hasan is highly delighted as they get Barcos for his team. He said, ” We are searching an ace striker for BPL and AFC Cup. After signing the contract with him, we shall goodbye Lebanese striker Jalal Koduh.”
Hasan said, ” Though Hernan is 35 years old but we expect a better brand of football from him. Cristiano Ronaldo is 35 years old but he is showing a superb performance. So, I hope that Barcos will also perform a consistent performance. We decided to buy him after consulting with the officials of our club.”
Barcos played four matches for Argentina in FIFA World Cup 2004. But failed to score any goal against his opponents. Besides, Barcos played for different clubs of Brazil and Colombia.
