Newcomers Bashundhara Kings won the prestigious Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football title after playing out 1-1 goal draw with rejuvenated Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited on Thursday at Sheikh Kamal Stadium in Nilphamari.

Bashundhara Kings have been in fantastic form since the start of the 11th edition of the league in January, having posted 19 wins – 14 of those in a row – along with only one draw. However, their 20-match unbeaten run was ended by Sheikh Russel in their 21st match.
