Reigning champions Bashundhara Kings blanked Uttar Baridhara Club by six goals to nil in their match of the TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at Bashundhara Sports Complex in the city on Friday.
League leaders Bashundhara Kings led the points table grabbing 32 points from 13 matches, while Uttar Baridhara Club took the 10th position earning eight points from 13 matches.
Bashundhara Kings had a 3-0 lead in the first half.
Bashundhara’s foreign recruit Miguel Ferreira put his team ahead in the 26th minute of the play.
Sohel Rana doubled the margin in the 30th minute of the clash.
Bashundhara’s Gambian recruit Nuha Marong made it 3-0 in the 38th minute of the play.
