Senior lawyer of the Supreme Court Baset Mojumdar has been elected vice-chairman of Bangladesh Bar Council. Baset Mojumder was elected to the post in the first meeting of the newly elected committee of the council held at its conference room on Tuesday, said Bar Council Secretary AKM Johurul Alam. Presided over by Bar Council chairman Attorney General Mahbubey Alam, the meeting was also attended by Sammilita Ainjibi Samannay Parishad panel head Barrister Amir-ul-Islam.–UNB
