Base Bir Sreshtho Matiur Rahman emerged champions in the Inter-Base Volleyball Competition of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) that concluded at BAF Base Paharkanchanpur in Tangail on Thursday.
BAF Base Zahurul Haque finished runners-up in the seven-team competition, said an ISPR release.
AC-1 Md Suja Miah and Met Assistant of Zahurul Haque team shared the best player title of the meet.
Air Officer Commanding BAF Base Paharkanchanpur Air Cdre Md Zahidur Rahman witnessed the final and distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Senior BAF officers, airmen and other members of the base were present on the occasion.
Earlier on February 26, Officer Commending Maintenance Wing of the local Base Group Captain Forhad Ahmmad Tanbir inaugurated the competition.
