Base Bangabandhu team clinched the Bangladesh Air Force Inter-Base Football title beating Base Zahurul Haque team by 4-1 goals in the final at the Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque in Chittagong on Thursday.Sergeant Rauf of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Shrestho Matiur Rahman team was adjudged the best player of the tournament.Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal M Abul Bashar witnessed the day’s final match as the chief guest and later he distributed prizes among the winners
Among others, Air Officer Commanding, Senior BAF Officers, Airmen and other members of the Base were present on the occasion.
Earlier, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Zahurul Haque Air Commodore Kazi Shafiqul Hasan inaugurated the competition last Sunday
A total of six teams of the different Bases of Bangladesh Air Force took part in the competition.
