Staff Reporter: Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Suman resigned from the post of Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal on Thursday. The Supreme Court lawyer submitted his resignation letter to the chief prosecutor of the tribunal on Thursday.
He said in the resignation letter, “Due to my engagement in social and voluntary activities, I could not give enough time to a significant institution of the state like International Crimes Tribunal.So, I think it’s not right for me to receive a salary from the government,”
He said, “In this circumstances, I resign.” Barrister Suman joined the crimes tribunal on November 13, 2012.The lawyer achieved much popularity through highlighting various social and awareness issues on social media.
