Farmers happy with bumper turmeric production

BSS, Panchagarh :Farmers in the district are happy with the bumper production of turmeric and its fair price.Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) office sources said a total of 1,200 hectares of land have been brought under turmeric cultivation in the district with a production target of 4,090 tonnes of turmeric.The farmers have already started selling turmeric in the local market.
