After one day recess, the Bangabandu T20 Cup Cricket resumes today at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur.
Fortune Barishal will take on Gazi Group Chattogram in the day’s first match, which begins at 1.30pm, while Beximco Dhaka will face Gemcon Khulna in the day’s second match, which starts at 6.30pm. Gazi Group Chattogram and Minister Group Rajshahi led the points table securing four points each from their respective two and three matches.
Fortune Barishal and Gemcon Khulna took the second spot collecting two points each from their respective two and three matches.
Beximco Dhaka remained the bottom position with naught from two matches.
Gazi Group Chattogram registered easy wins against Beximco Dhaka and Gemcon Khulna. They defeated Dhaka by nine wickets and beat Khulna also by nine wickets. On the other hand, Fortune Barishal returned to the winning way with a five-wicket victory over Minister Group Rajshahi. Barishal lost their first game to Gemcon Khulna by four wickets.
Minister Group Rajshahi won two matches and lost one match.
