Barishal Airport Thana Press Club has formed its committee (2021-23) with Masud Rana, Barisal correspondent of The New Nation as president and Redwan Rana of Aajker Barta as general secretary.
Other members of the 11-member committee are Ashraful Islam Sumon, a senior journalist of Daily Shanama newspaper and MS Forkan as Joint General Secretary, Riaz Hossain (Barisal City News), Organizing Secretary, Anwar Hossain (Desh Janpad), Treasurer, M Jamal Hossain (Bangla TV), Office and Publicity Secretary Nasim Sharif (Editor, Barisal Prahor).
The executive members are Pathik Mostafa (Editor, Parliament Mission), Moniruzzaman Monir (Barisal People’s) and K H Emon Chowdhury (Barishal People’s). The election meeting was chaired by Pathik Mostafa, the outgoing president of Airport Thana Press Club. Besides, the leaders of the new committee announced to pay homage at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Saturday to start their future journey.
