Students’ agitation at Barisal Nursing College at Sher -e- Bangla Medical College area continued for the fourth day on Thursday protesting decision of accommodating female resident medical students at newly constructed BNC academic building.
The BNC principal remained locked by the students in her office for the second day in on Thursday.
Tensions also prevailing among the BNC and SBMC students as BNC students continued their agitation programmes since Monday holding procession and rally in the campus.
However after visiting the campus on Thursday it was learnt that food and drinking water for the confined BNC principal were supplied by the agitated nursing students and most of the BNC and SBMC students were busy on enjoying live broadcast of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
