Hanging dead body of house wife recovered

Hanging dead body of Mamtaj Begum, 45, recovered from her home on Sunday afternoon at Durgapur village under Chandpura union of Barisal Sadar Upazila.
Abdul Jabaar Khan, husband of the victim, claimed his wife committed suicide from family disputes.Local people told there were regular disputes between husband and wife and on Sunday morning they also engaged in altercations.Sub Inspector Hemayet Kabir of Barisal Bandar police station, visiting the spot said police recovering the dead body sent to Sher-e- Bangla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy lodging a case of unnatural death.
School bldg cum cyclone shelter opens

Fake RAB member sent to jail
A fake member of Rapid Action Battalion sent to jail in Barisal., Police and court sources said one Abul Bashar was working in Border Guard of Bangladesh and fleeing from his post on January 17, 2014, involved in criminal activities playing role of a fake official of Rapid Action Battalion. Recently police marking him as a cheater lodged a fraud case against him while he coming to Wazirpur police station tried to get undue privileges on May 30. But that time Bashar managed to flee away and continued his suspicious activities.He again going at Airport police station under Barisal Metropolitan Police on Wednesday tried to identify himself as deputy additional director of RAB.
School boy killed in road accident
A school boy killed after crushed under wheels of a ‘Tomtom’, locally assembled tempo, at Barisal Sher E Bangla Medical College on Friday evening.The victim was identified as Md. Zakaria, 6, student of class-1 at Kundupasha primary school and son of Jahangir Mallik of Kundupasha under Nalcity upazila of Jhalakathi district.Abu Mallik, uncle of the victim, said Zakaria while going near Mallikbari Bailey bridge on foot a Tomtom crushing him fled from the scene at about 5:30 PM Friday.Family members and local people rescuing him brought to Barisal Sher E Bangla Medical College Hospital in critical condition.The boy was declared as dead soon after brought to SBMCH at 6:30 PM, said Dr. Muzahidul Islam, emergency medical officer told.

A case would be lodged in this connection by Nalcity police station if the guardians of the victim allowed to postmortem the dead body, he said.
