Barisal Division were bundled out for 147 runs in 68.2 overs in the first innings against Dhaka Division South team on the first day of the three-day Young Tigers U-18 National Cricket Tournament at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium here on Monday.
Opener Galib Ahmed scored 34 runs featuring four fours, two down Kutubuddin also contributed 34 runs hitting seven fours and one six, lower order Sarder Yasir added 26 runs with the help of four fours and one six while Asaduzzaman made 16 including three boundaries for Barisal Division.
Jubair Hasan made the major damage in Barisal inning grabbing four wickets for 19 runs while Shawkat Aziz and Mohammad Raihan took two wickets each conceding 14 and 28 runs.
In reply, Dhaka South opened the first innings and scored 77 for 3 in 19 overs when the bails were drawn for the first day (Monday) with Mohammad Naim scoring the match highest 40 runs off 44 balls, featuring six four and one six.
One down Jubair Hossain was in batting with 18 runs and Habibur Rahman also in the crease with five runs.
Sarder Yasir claimed all three Dhaka wickets giving away 25 runs.
