BISEB Chairman Prof. Ziaul Haque said only 8 out of 20 top-performer institutions in JSC examination under the board were public and situated in district town level. Rest 12 institutions were private institutions situated in upazila level or rural areas.
This fact proving that private and rural institutions even discriminated and deprived from infrastructural facilities, standard pay scale and benefits, but gradually doing better in performance competition, Muhammad Shah Alamgir, controller of examinations BISEB added.
Specialised institution Barisal Cadet College scoring 91 points with 50 examinees and cent percent pass and GPA-5 rate stands top of the institution in top-20 list of Junior School Certificate examination results 2014 under Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Barisal.
Barisal Government Girls School became second in the list of best-20 institutions in JSC 2014 result scoring 90.860 points with cent percent pass and 246 GPA-5 this year.
BISEB sources said Taslima Memorial Academy of Pathrghata, Barguna with cent percent passed out of 71 examinees and 67 GPA-5 scored 89.277 points, Lalmohon Ha-Mim Academy of Bhola with cent percent passed out of 55 examinees and 52 GPA-5 scored 86.885 points, Barisal Govt Zilla School with cent percent passed out of 270 examinees and 194 GPA-5 scored 85.959 points , Srijanee Bidyaniketan of Dumki Patuakhali with cent percent pass rate and 51 GPA-5 out of 68 examinees scored 83.276 points, Bhola Govt Girls School with 186 passed out of 187 examinees and 114 GPA-5 scored 80.854 points, Patuakhali Govt.
