Barisal Bulls beat Rajshahi Kings by 17 runs in their match of the AKS Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 Cricket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday. Sent into bat first, Barisal Bulls piled up a healthy total of 161 for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs and then managed to restrict Rajshahi Kings to 114 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Dawid Malan of Barisal top-scored with 56, while Fazle Mahmud made 43 and Thisara Perera remained unbeaten with 29.
Later, Rayad Emrit of Barisal grabbed three wickets at the cost of 27. Emrit was adjudged the Man of the Match.
