Baridhara Dazzlers beat Dhaka Wanderers Club by 25 runs in the match of the Dhaka Metropolis First Division Cricket League at Jahangirnagar University ground, Savar on Saturday.
In the day’s match, sent in to bat first, Baridhara Dazzlers scored a moderate 246 runs for all in stipulated 50 overs.
Jahangir Alam scored the teams highest 71 runs off 95 balls with six fours and two sixes while Ashikul Alam Naeem scored the second highest 61 runs off 83 balls with two fours and a six.
Skipper Shihab Ahmed (33), opener Shakil Haider (21), SM Raihan Sharif (18) and Imamul Hossain (14) were the other double digit scorers for Baridhara Dazzlers.
Sayem grabbed three wickets for 58 runs in 10 overs while Sheikh Rezwan Kabir Siddique, Mehedi Hasan Anik, Rayhan Anas and Hafez Al Hasan took one wicket each.
Chasing 247 to win, Dhaka Wanderers Club were all out making 221 in 47.4 overs.
Skipper Elias Hossain Emon scored team highest 72 runs off 53 balls with six fours and four sixes while Rizwan Tanim (32), Rayhan Anas (31) and Rezwan Kabir Siddique (23) were the other notable scorer for their side.
Riyazul Huda grabbed three wickets for 50 runs off 9 overs; Shahidul and Shihab Ahmed took two wickets each for 32 and 46 runs respectively while SM Raihan Sharif took one wicket.
