The Training and Communication Wing of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has arranged a training workshop on filing income tax returns for scientists and officers held at the seminar room of the institute on Thursday.
A total of 40 scientists and officers from different levels of BARI, including Chief Scientific Officers and Principal Scientific Officers participated at the daylong training workshop. In the morning, BARI Director General Dr. Debashish Sarker inaugurated the training workshop as chief guest. Director (Training and Communi-cation Wing) Dr Muhammad Samsul Alom presided over the programme while Director (Tuber Crops) Dr. Sohela Akhter was present as special guest. Principal Scientific Officer of Training and Communication Wing Dr Md. Abdur Razzak delivered the welcome speech at the ceremony. Deputy Tax Commissioner of Gazipur Tax Region Mr Md. Tanvir Morshed and Mr Sumon Kumar Barman were present as the trainer at the workshop.
