BARI holds field exhibition on research activities

The Farm Machinery and Postharvest Process Engineering (FMPE) Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has arranged a field exhibition on the research activities of Conservation Agriculture (CA) Park at the research field of CA Park of the institute on Thursday.
 BARI scientists, officers, staff, workers and farmers’ representatives were participated at the program. The program funded by Appropriate Conservation Machinery and Water Management Systems Project with the collaboration of Feed the Future, USAID, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh.
In the morning, BARI Director General (Routine Work) & Director (Support & Services) Dr. Md. Kamrul Hasan inaugurated the field exhibition program as chief guest. Chief Scientific Officer and Head of the FMPE Division and Research Coordinator of the project Dr. Md. Ayub Hossain presided over the program while Director (Planning and Evaluation) Dr. Apurba Kanti Chowdhury and Director (Training and Communication) Dr. Ferdousi Islam were present as special guests. Senior Scientific Officer of FMPE Division & Co-Research Coordinator of the project Dr. Mohammad Ershadul Haque presented various activities of CA Park through PowerPoint presentations.
The event highlighted various aspects of CA Park’s research activities and participants participated in open discussions to express their views.
