Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has celebrated the historic 7th March speech of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman today (Sunday, 7 March 2021) through various programs. The day’s programs include rising national flag, laid wreaths at Bangabandhu’s portrait, discussion meeting, special prayers and playing Bangabandhu’s 7th March and other speeches.
The day’s program began with the raising of the national flag and laid wreaths at Bangabandhu’s portrait which led by BARI Director General Dr. Md. Nazirul Islam. After that a discussion meeting was held. BARI Director (Support & Services) Dr. S. M. Sharifuzzaman presided over the meeting while BARI Director General Dr. Md. Nazirul Islam was the chief guest.
BARI Director (Planning & Evaluation) Dr. Md. Kamrul Hasan, Director (Training & Communication) Dr. Muhammad Shamsul Alom, Director (Research) Dr. Md. Tariqul Islam, scientists, officers, employees, labours of BARI, leaders of BARI Scientific Association (BARISA) and BARI Employee Welfare Association (BARIKA) were, among others, present on the occasion.
