British American Resource Center (BARC), an international test venue of IDP Australia celebrated its 9th anniversary at Uttara Club on Saturday, says a press release.
The award giving ceremony of the IELTS toppers’ who have recently achieved IELTS band 6,6.5, 7, 7.5 and 8.5 was also held and it was also an opening of an online learning platformamarEnglish.com.
BARC has started its journey in 2009 and gradually it created a difference in English teaching.
BARC has earned reputation in the market for last few years, and has become a test venue at Uttara in 2015, and opened another test venue at Mirpur in 2017. This is also a resourceful place for learners of all ages. There are more than 15000 students have graduated from this institution with a great success.
The CEO and founder Mohammad Maruf Firoz announced that within five years, BARC will provide teaching to ten million students throughout the country and which is totally free. And in 2019, they will set up ten new branches of English learning center outside Dhaka and spread online teaching throughout the country.
The programme was chaired by Dr M Azizur Rahman, Vice Chancellor of Uttara University.
