Newly elected Chairman of Banskhali Upazila Md. Zahirul Islam sued before the court in Chittagong for alleged hidening the informations in polls affidavit, supply of wrong info and vote rigging during polls yesterday. The defeated Awami league Chairman candidate Md. Khorshed Alam filed the suit before the Election Tribunal Judge (1st Joint District Judge) court on Tuesday. In the case 72 persons haves been accused including contesting 3 candidates, district Election officer, Chief Election commissioner, Secretary of Local Govt Ministry .Counsel of the Plaintiff , Advocate Abu Sayeed told that the court accepted the prayer in cognizance and waiting for further directives.
