Banshkhali upazila clinched the Independence and National Day Kabaddi title beating Boalkhali upazila by 29-28 points in a keenly contested final at Halishahar Police Lines ground in the port city on Monday.
Arafat Hossain Chowdhury of the losing team was adjudged the best player of the tournament.Police Super of Chittagong and Vice-president of CJKS Nure Alam Mina was the chief guest at the final and later he distributed the prizes.
Earlier in the semifinals, Banshkhali eliminated Anwara upazila by 36-28 points while Boalkhali outplayed Mirsarai by 60-15 points at the same venue.
