Banking and Insurance Fiesta 2017′ was held on Saturdayat Dhaka University (DU) on the occasion of the 13th founding anniversary of the university’s Banking and Insurance Department.
The program took place at Teacher-Student Center (TSC) auditorium from 10 am to noon, said a DU press release.
Presided over by Banking and Insurance Department Chairman Professor Abu Taleb, the function was attended by Finance Secretary Yunusur Rahman as the chief guest while Faculty Dean of Business Studies Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul Islam gave the welcome address.
Prizes were distributed among the winners of a week-long cultural and sports competition organized by the Banking and Insurance Club.
Later, a pleasant cultural event was held on this occasion, the release added.
