Around 73 percent bankers of the country think financial irregularities in the banking sector are increasing due to lack of morals.
This is revealed at a workshop on “Corporate Ethics and Financial Crime in Banks: Bangladesh Perspective” at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) auditorium in the city, said a press release.
Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Abu Hena Mohd. Razee Hasan attended the workshop as the chief guest. BIBM Director General Dr Towfiq Ahmed Chowdhury presided over the workshop while BIBM Director Dr Shah M Ahsan Habib presented the research report.
