One Bank security guard was killed by ramming a bus in city yesterday morning. The incident occurred at Barapol area under Halishahar area.
The victim identified as Abul Kashem(48) and was working in Shahjalal Islami Bank. Abul Kashem hails from comilla district, sources said. Police detained the passenger bus and the driver quickly escaped from the spot . Halishahar thana police admitted the fact of the accident and detained the killer truck. A case against the driver, owner and the truck was lodged with the halishahar thana, sources said.
