An old woman ( 70 ) came to know that she died when she came to draw her old age allowance from the bank
This incident happened in Krishi Bank, Bauphal Branch, Patuakhali.
It was learnt that at 10 am on last Wednesday , Raju Begum(73), wife of late Hasem Howlader of Dashpara Union, come to draw her old age allowances of Tk1200 for three months from January to March, from Krishi Bank, Bauphal Branch.
Her account No 549 and pass book No 11/2/0979. After checking his bank documents, the bank officer became surprised, because in her bank documents it was mentioned that she died in 20 August of last year(2014).
Hearing this the poor old woman fall into tears. Manger of the branch Romesh Howlader informed that the prior Manager Ruhul Amin has done this mistake, now he will take proper steps.
