Bank Asia has been crowned the Best Innovation Award – Financial Sector in the competition of `Bangladesh Business Innovation Award 2019′ organized by Brand Forum Bangladesh, recognizing the bank’s outstanding contribution for business model innovation to accelerate financial inclusion in Bangladesh.
Md Arfan Ali, President & Managing Director of Bank Asia received the award from Nihad Kabir, President of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) at a formal ceremony held at an international hotel in the capital city Dhaka on Saturday.
Bank Asia participated in the competition with its pioneering business innovations including Agent Banking, bio-matric usage in banking system, online loan-processing software OCAS-Diganto, A-Card and Micro-Merchant model.
