Bank Asia has formally inaugurated its 101st branch at Nangalkot Upazila of Comilla district, says a press release.
Addressing as the chief guest, AHM Mustafa Kamal, Minister for Ministry of Planning has inaugurated the bank branch on Sunday. The bank is contributing a vital role for the economic growth of the country, said the minister. He expected the successful operation of the bank in future.
Md. Mehmood Husain, President and Managing Director of Bank Asia said, the bank has started its operation in 1999, which is one of the most innovative banks in the country’s banking sector.
It offers a wide range of financial services that covers the entire spectrum of banking operations including Islamic Banking, SME financing, agent banking, e banking and ATM services, also said the managing director.
Rumee A Hossain, Chairman of Executive Committee of the Bank and Md Samsuddin Kalu, Chairman, Nangalkot Upozila were present as the Special Guest. Humaira Azam and Md Zahirul Alom, Deputy Managing Directors were also present on the occasion.
