Mamun-ur Rashid has joined as the new Deputy Managing Director of Bank Asia recenly. Prior to joining in Bank Asia he was Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) in National Credit and Commerce (NCC) Bank Ltd.
A veteran in the Banking industry, Rashid has multifarious experience in the Corporate and international Banking arena in both local and multinational banks. Mamun-ur Rashidcompleted his Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Marketing from the University of Dhaka and Master Degree in Economics from Northern University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He embarked on banking career in1986 as Management Trainee with Bank of Credit and Commerce International (Overseas) Ltd which, therefore, was taken over by Eastern Bank Ltd. In 1995 he joined in the Credit Africa Bank, Zambia as an expatriate Banker.
