Bangladesh Embassy in Iraq has requested all the Bangladeshi nationals there to remain in safe places amid the volatile political and security concerns.
The Bangladeshi nationals staying in different parts of Iraq have also been requested to remain connected with the embassy in need of any evolving situations, the embassy in an emergency circular said on Tuesday.

According to sources, more than two lakh Bangladeshi migrant workers are in war-torn Iraq.
According to the statement, it also requested Bangladeshi expatriates in Iraq to stay alert and maintain caution considering the current fighting in the Middle-Eastern country.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the embassy requested Bangladeshis not to attend any gathering, rallies, and meetings to avoid unwanted incidents.
Bangladesh Embassy will remain open 24/7 to render consular services to the expatriates. Everyone has been requested to extend cooperation.
