Outgoing Iraqi Ambassador to Bangladesh Shakir Quasim Mahdi Thursday said Bangladeshi workers would get priority in the gigantic development works launched in Iraq.
He said this during a farewell call on Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Abul Hasan Mahmood Ali at his office in the foreign ministry here.
The minister thanked the Iraqi envoy for playing an important role in strengthening the bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Iraq. He also wished his good health and overall welfare.
The Iraqi ambassador expressed gratitude to the Bangladesh government for extending all sorts of cooperation given to him during his stay in Bangladesh.
