Bangladeshi stabbed by BSF in border

A Bangladeshi young man was stabbed by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Putkhali border here on Wednesday night.
The victim identified as Kitab Ali,27, is a cattle trader and son of Aital Ali, a resident of Uttarpara village of
the bordering area. Subeder Shamsur Rahman of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion-23 Putkhali camp said BSF members from Angrail camp caught Kitab after a hot chase while a group of Bangladeshi cattle traders, including Kitab, were returning to the country along with cattle through the border at night. Later, they stabbed Kitab indiscriminately and left leaving him injured critically. Kitab’s associates got him admitted to a clinic in Jessore.
