A Bangladeshi cattle trader was shot and wounded by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) members along Korla border in Phulbari upazila early Friday. The injured was identified as Shamsul Haque, 32.
Locals said, a patrol team of BSF opened fire on Shamsul near border pillar
no 931 when he was returning home along with cattle, leaving him injured critically.
The injured man was taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
Company commander Imran Nizami of Balahat Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) confirmed the incident.
