Bangladeshi shot dead by BSF

UNB, Benapole :A Bangladeshi youth was gunned down by members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Agravulot area along Benapole border in Sharsha upazila early Sunday.The deceased was identified as Parvez, 21, a cattle trader and son of Sujon Master of Agravulot village of the upazila.Subedar Shamsur Rahman, in-charge of Goga camp under Battalion 23 of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), said, Parvez was severely injured as members of Jhaudanga camp BSF opened fire at him while he was returning with cattle from the Indian side of the border around 5am. Parvez was rescued by the fellow cattle traders and was taken to his home. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to his home.
