Bangladeshi company Renaissance Barind Limited is going to set up a readymade garments industry in Ishwardi EPZ.
This company will invest US$ 4.03 million for setting up their plant with annual production capacity of 6 million pcs of all types Shirt. 1757 Bangladeshi nationals will get employment opportunity in the factory.
An agreement to this effect has signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and Renaissance Barind Limited in Dhaka Sunday at BEPZA Complex. Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and ARM Shahidul Haque, Director of Renaissance Barind Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Major General Mohd. Habibur Rahman Khan, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman, Mr. Khandakar Aktaruzzaman, Member (Engineering), AKM Mahbubur Rahman Member (Finance), Mr. Md. Shawkat Nabi, Secretary, Mr. AZM Azizur Rahman, General Manager (Investment Promotion) and Mrs. Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations) of BEPZA were present at the signing ceremony.
