Bangladeshi players slept without taking dinner after conceding one-run defeat to India in the ICC World Twenty20 match on March 23. Captain of Bangladesh Cricket team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza informed that matter to the an inhabitant of Kashmir on Monday.
Mashrafe and his family are now in Kashmir for pleasure trip. Mashrafe took part in a limited over match in Kashmir with the players of Kashmir on Monday.
During the match a young man of Kashmir asked Mashrafe about that match.
Mashrafe said, ” After suffering an incredible one-run defeat to India on March 23 night, we were all distressed. We did not take dinner that night. Loss is a part of game but we did not want to suffer defeat in that match. We needed two runs from three balls. But experienced Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad could not solve that equation.”
It is noteworthy that after conceding defeat to India, not only Bangladeshi players but also many cricket lovers of the country slept without taking dinner that night.
