Bangladeshi mobile brand ‘Goldberg’ unveils

Industry Minister Amir Hossein Amu inaugurated a launching programme of a new Bangladeshi mobile brand ‘Goldberg’ as chief guest at a city hotel on Friday.
Khansons Group Chairman AKM Azizur Rahman Khan presided over the programme while Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon, Information Minister Hasanul Huq Inu, Chief Whip ASM Feroz and Goldberg Mobile Chief Executive Officer Abrar Rahman Khan were present.
Goldberg Mobile founder Abrar Rahman Khan said, Goldberg aims to become a major player in Bangladeshi mobile market with the best quality products.
 “All the Goldberg gadgets will be available at 64 districts at a time. Besides, there are some 18 ‘Your Care’, customer service center, for Goldberg gadgets across the country. The number of customer care centers will reach at 40 by the end of this year,” Abrar said.
“Considering demand in local market, initially we bring feature phone in two series and five categories smart phones. All the mobile gadgets will be within Tk800 to 12500, he added.
 Khansons Group Chairman AKM Azizur Rahman said, “The local demand of mobile handsets is 1.5 crore every year. We have planned to reach some 5 lakh of users by the end of this year.”
The customers of Goldberg mobile will get one-year post buying servicing, replacement facilities within 14 days. There are attractive offers of dealers and retail sellers, according to Goldberg officials.
