Indian Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi youth along Ajmotpur border at Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district early Wednesday.
Deceased Ibrahim Hossain, was the son of Abu Taher of Dhulipara village.
His cousin Shariful Islam said Ibrahim went to the border area at night without informing anybody.
“We came to know about his death this morning through BGB sources,” Shariful Islam added.
Shahbajpur Union Parishad chairman Md Tozammel Haque said the incident happened at about 2:30am on the border area.
