Bangladeshi FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman, a player of Titas Club, shared the top slot in the 25th Telegraph School Chess Championship with 16 other players securing full four points after the 4th round matches on Sunday now being held at Gorkey Sadan in Kolkata.
Nushrat Jahan Nafisa and Ashababur Rahman Taif earned 2.5 points each.
In the 4th round matches, Fahad beat Dipanjan Chowdhury of India, Nafisa beat Tejash Jain of India while Taif beat Dibakar Das of India.
A total 401 school students from Bangladesh, Nepal, India and the USA are participating in the event.
