Bangladeshis citizens who are eligible and have the necessary documents will get port visa, also known as on-arrival visa, at selected ports of China.
“Bangladeshi citizens, who have regular passports, are eligible for port visas at selected Chinese ports. Chinese Embassy in Dhaka has already sent a note verbal to the Foreign Ministry of Bangladesh on November 30, 2018, responding a request of Bangladesh for introducing on-arrival visa system,” said a press release of the Home Ministry.
According to the note verbal, the Bangladeshi nationals, who need to enter China urgently for humanitarian ground, or who are invited to enter China for urgent business or have other urgent needs, or who are organised to visit China as tourists by Chinese travel agencies, are eligible to apply for port visa with the visa-issuing authorities of China. The duration of stay for port visa shall not exceed 30 days.
