Omar Ishrak, a Bangladeshi-American businessman has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of the American technology giant Intel.
Omar was serving as company Director of the world famous technology giant.
Omar Ishrak replaces Andy Bryant, who is stepping down after seven years at the helm, amid a growing crisis in Intel’s supply chain that has seen shortages in the company’s line of processors.
In a statement the company said that the appointment was effective immediately.
