After earning a 2-0 victory in the three-match Test series, motivated Bangladesh will take on Zimbabwe in the third and final Test match at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, the port city of the country. The clash starts at 9.30 am. Gazi TV, a private satellite channel will telecast the match live from the big bowl.
Bangladesh earned a narrow three-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the first Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Later, the Tigers registered a massive 162-run victory over the African side at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.
Before this Test match, Bangladesh played 13 Test matches against Zimbabwe. Of them, Zimbabwe composed six wins while Bangladesh won four occasions and rest of the three games ended in draw.
Captain of Bangladesh Cricket team Mushfiqur Rahim said, “The members of Zimbabwe are here for three weeks. They know about our bowling and about our condition. This match may be tough to win than the other previous matches.”
Mushfiqur Rahim promised to win three consecutive matches. Mushfiqur is also confident to win the match by showing good performance.
Experienced batsman of Zimbabwe Hamilton Masakadza thinks Shakib Al Hasan is the main obstacle to win against Bangladesh.
Masakadza said, “We made plan for him. We discussed to resist him. We shall try to win this Test. We could not win any match against Bangladesh in Bangladesh for a long time. So, we are eager to win over them. We want to play confidently in the ODI series after win this Test match. I think the condition of Bangladesh is the main difference. The spinners have bowled well. We struggled to face them. Hoping the boys will bounce back.”
Opener Imrul Kayes has been included instead of Shamsur Rahman in the Bangladesh Test squad for the Chittagong Test.

Zimbabwe are expected to field the same team, with Natsai M’shangwe keeping his place as the specialist spinner after taking a four-for in the second innings in Khulna.
