The government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly to ensure sustainable and environment-friendly green industrialization aimed at turning Bangladesh into a developed country in the world.
This was stated by senior secretary of the Ministry of Industries M Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan at the inaugural session of a four-day workshop on Monday “Bangladesh has achieved desired success in agriculture and the government will now establish sustainable and modern technology based industrialization,” he told the workshop on “Material Flow Cost Accounting.”
The National Productivity Organisation (NPO) and the Japan-based Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) jointly organised the workshop to promote productivity in small and medium sectors in the Asian countries.
Additional Secretary of the Industries Ministry Sushen Chandra Das presided over the workshop.
Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan said the rational use of raw materials in small and medium industries would help increase productivity and create opportunities to export large amount of quality products.
