Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team off to Kuala Lumpur

Bangladesh National Women’s Cricket left the city on Friday for Kuala Lumpur to take part in the ACC Asia Cup Cricket scheduled to be held at Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia from June 3 to June 10.
A total of six teams will take part on the single league basis cricket tournament for Asian women. They are: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and hosts Malaysia.
Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka on June 3, will take on Pakistan on June 4, will face India on June 6, will meet Thailand on June 7, will play against Malaysia on June 9.
Top two teams from the league will face each other in the final on June 10.
Bangladesh National Women’s team: Salma Khatun (Captain), Rumana Ahmed, Nigar Sultana, Fargana Haque, Khadaija Tul Kubra, Fahima Khatun, Ayesha Rahman, Jannatul Ferdous Sumona, Nahida Akter, Panna Ghosh, Lily Rani Biswas, Sanjida Islam, Sharmin Sultana, Jahanara Alam and Shamima Sultana.
